Instructor: Liz Hale, Certified IEW Instructor
Description: These lessons explore the virtues of three characters of great substance–Mother Teresa, Saint Francis, and Abraham Lincoln. Progressing through the nine IEW units, each lesson provides a specific objective and an assignment. Most appropriate for high school students.
Assignments include research reports, critique writing, fictional story telling and essay writing. Students will receive instruction in the structure of each of these forms of writing as well as instruction in literary style techniques.
