Dear Colonial Homeschool Families,
Do you have any origami paper in your craft supplies that you are not using and would be willing to donate? Colonial Children’s Mission Awareness Team is hosting an event called The Great Japanese Adventure on Saturday April 13th. We will be teaching the children how to fold various origami objects from paper. If you have any extra origami paper in your craft supplies that you would be willing to donate, please contact Louise Lewis (john.lewis@gmail.com)
Your children (kindergarten – 5th grade) are welcome to join us in the Children’s Center on Saturday, April 13 for The Great Japanese Adventure. There will be lots of fun activities—games, crafts, snacks, lessons, and much more—all to help your children learn more about this fascinating culture! Bill and Becky Petite, Colonial’s missionaries to Japan, will also be around to meet the kids and answer any questions they might have.
Click here to register your children for this free event. Keep in mind that the day will include both a morning session (10am–noon) and an afternoon session (1:30–3:30pm). Please select the session that best fits into your schedule!
Space is limited and registration closes late Tuesday afternoon.
We hope to see you there!!!
Sincerely,
Louise Louise
