Algebra 3

Algebra 3 is a course designed to build on topics learned in Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 and to prepare students for Pre-Calculus. This course is one of the options for a fourth math for juniors, seniors, or other students who have completed Geometry and Algebra 2. It is for students who would like an additional algebra foundation before taking Pre-Calculus.

Topics covered include the following: Linear Relations & Functions, Systems of Linear Equations, The Nature of Graphs, Polynomial/Radical/Rational Functions, Trigonometric Functions, Exponential/Logarithms, Sequences & Series, Probability & Statistics

MATERIALS AND TEXT:

  • We will be using Jean Adams’ Algebra 3 Curriculum/Flamingo Math. It is very structured and boxed out for organization. Each lesson includes guided notes and homework, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PURCHASE  A BINDER THAT WILL INCLUDE THE CURRICULUM FROM THE TEACHER.
